Leave management is a critical component of Human Resource Management in any organization

This module is very critical for all employees hence, go to Module >> Leave. This section has a number of features as shown below;

Leave Requests
The leave request feature enables the user to submit leave requests and view information relating to their leave status. This section can be accessed by clicking Modules >> Leave >> Leave Requests. The figure below shows how to navigate to the leave request page.
Once the employee is at the leave request form, they can do the following:
Select the leave type that you want to apply for.
Add a description.
Add the start date and number of days required. The end date will be auto-generated from the number of days.
After filling in the different fields on the form, click the save tab.
The figure below shows how the leave request form looks like.

The Approval Process
A leave request can be auto-approved or have one or more approvers. These approvers can be added onto an employee profile or set in Company Settings under the Settings tab.
An approver will get an email alert once a leave request is made. Each of the assigned approvers must approve the leave request for it to show as approved. Once the leave request is approved the employee will get a notification through email indicating the status of the leave application as approved or rejected.

Leave History
Leave History consists of all leave details i.e. pending, taken, and approved. An employee will be able to see leave history for the entire organization.
Employees will only see their records. Supervisors will see their leave details and that of employees they supervise.
To access the leave history, go to Modules >> Leave >> Leave History. The figure below shows how the user can view the Leave requests awaiting approval.

Leave Balance
This report shows the leave balances as of the current date as shown below. To navigate to this report, go to Modules >> Leave >> Leave Balances

Leave Accrual
The leave accrual is a representation of how the leave days can be adjusted as guided by the HR policy. This caters for leave days or hours provided outside the normal leave processes. To navigate to this section, go to Modules >> leave >> Leave accrual. This section is available to an employee with HR rights or more.

The HR Manager then will navigate through the form above (Figure 6) to access the assign/add accrued time tab. The request form is shown below;

Who is on Leave?
This section shows the list of employees who are currently on leave and can be accessed by; Module >> Leave >> Who is on Leave?
Leave Calendar
This is a view of the calendar of employees on leave with their leave days taken. This calendar can be displayed by day/week/month/year. The days on the calendar marked in red are general public holidays. To access this section, go to Module >> Leave >> Leave Calendar

Leave Reports
This section has two parts i.e. analysis and accruals. A user can navigate and get reports using the pivot analysis system. An employee can view these reports in Excel/ JPG/ PDF.
To access this section, go to Modules >> Leave >> Analysis Reports/Accrual Reports.

Analysis Report
To go to this section; Module >> Leave >> Reports >> Analysis Report.
Accruals Report
To go to this section; Module >> Leave >> Reports >> Accruals Report.
