Instructions on How to Apply

This section shows the instructions on how to submit a job application

Before you start the application process, please ensure you have the following readily available: -

  • A cover letter (PDF Format)

  • Your CV (PDF Format)

  • Your passport photo (jpeg/png format). Note that some jobs don’t require it.

  • Your bio, academic, and work experience information in a word document

  • Having the above files will make your application process smooth and fast.

The application link or URL follows the following format (https://xxx.hrmagic.co/careers/). Enter the link you have been given or seen in the advert in your preferred web browser. Once the page has loaded, select the job you wanted to apply for, click on the “Apply Now” button next to it and start the application process.

Career Page

Once you click on the desired job advert on the career portal, you shall see options of view job details and apply now. The stages for the application process are 5 as stated below;

  1. Personal Information

  2. Requirements

  3. Applications

  4. Application Assessment

  5. Review and Submit

Personal Information

This section is a must fill. It is where you will enter your bio-details. Note that every field marked with a red star (*) is a must to fill. If not filled, the applicant won’t be able to proceed to the next stage of the application.

Note that once this information is filled in and saved, an email notification is sent to the applicant with an Application ID.

Email Notification

This Application ID is used when the applicant wants to continue with the application process. This can be caused due to poor connection, power cuttings, or saving the application as a draft.

By clicking on the Continue button on the career page, the applicant uses the Application ID provided to be able to proceed with the application as shown in the figure below

Requirements

In this section, you are required to enter your education and employment history. An applicant can add more records by clicking on the “Add Education” or “Add employment” icon respectively.

An applicant can also remove a field that he/she does not require in the application by clicking on the “Remove” icon

Application

Under this section, the applicant is required to upload documents such as the curriculum vitae (PDF), Passport photo (JPEG/PNG) - optional, and cover/application letter (PDF).

Please note: the system will reject files not saved in the right format.

Application Assessment

This section contains a set of questions set up by the recruiting company which must be answered before proceeding to the final stage. It is important for the applicant to read the questions fully and understand them before starting to answer them.

These questions are either of the following types;

  • Free text question

  • Yes/No question

  • Multiple Choice question

Review and Submit

This is the final stage in the application process and it simply displays the information that the applicant registered in the above stages. The applicant can review and edit through to endeavor that its correct and accurate information is submitted

Once an application is submitted, an email alert is sent to the applicant as a receipt of receiving the application as shown in the figure below. This confirmation email marks the end of the application process.
